Faith Is The Key To Happiness

If I didn’t have faith I would have to say that my life would be a mess. For many people who have a life of Christianity this statement rings true for them too. Without faith everyone would be in trouble. Virtually everyone has faith; they simply choose to acknowledge it in different ways and by using different words. I find it amazing how people who say they don’t need faith to make it through this life, use faith every day. However, when people realize that faith really is the key to happiness, their life as a whole changes because their concerns aren’t so big to them. Faith isn’t something that you can see physically; it is rather something you hope for or expect to happen because spiritually you believe it will.

And yet people use faith in some form everyday. For example, millions of people get up every day and get ready for work. These people get into their vehicles and put the key into the ignition. They turn the engine over and it starts making it possible for them to get to their place of employment in time. That is a form of faith. You believe that when you put your key in the ignition and turn it, your vehicle will run. Well, how do you know? Is it just because it is supposed to? Or do you have the outlook that your opinion is “I just know?” Either way you ultimately look at it, you are still using your key in faith. So, with that being said, using faith as the key to happiness is no different. By applying faith to give you happiness throughout your life, it offers you a different way of looking at your life. You can enjoy life in so many different ways.

You start to see the flowers in bloom, the birds singing, and even other people in a different way. The laughter of a child sounds different to you, and even your own laughter makes you feel different inside. Faith that you live by can give you happiness, but only if you let it.
Jesus
While faith is the key to happiness, having faith as a part of life is also knowing that everything will be okay. When you put clothes in the washer, you know that as soon as you start the washer the clothes will be washed. So what is the difference if you apply the same concept into being happy?

Yes, there are several scriptures that can be found about faith in the Bible, there is no denying that, if you have read the Bible at all. But for those who find faith hard to believe is what I do truly find amazing. Simply because there are so many forms of faith that are a part of our every day lives. Our jobs, we know we have them, our vehicles, we know they will start, and when we fall asleep at night, we think about the next day and things we have to do without even thinking about the idea that we are going to actually wake up the next morning. These are just a few of the different forms of faith some of us think nothing about. Faith is the key to happiness, if we are willing to apply it as our way of life and the way we think about it.
