Your Faith Can Save Your Life

For many people faith is something taken for granted. And yet for others faith is something they don’t even think about because they don’t really believe it is true. However, with Christianity there are those who know faith can save your life. Faith is taught in the Bible through all of the scriptures relating to faith. And yet, the biggest key to having faith is also knowing that there is something else, something more than this life, but a person must choose to believe and have faith. Through faith you can save your life by living your life to the best of your ability for what is to come.

There are also those people who have literally used their faith to survive tragedy that probably would have ended their life. For example, if a person is taking a cruise and the ship capsizes on the ocean. The person starts praying and talking to God. Having faith that another ship will come by and save you and anyone else that is with you. By believing you will be saved from this tragedy and prayer your faith will save your life. Eventually another ship does come by and everything is okay. This doesn’t always happen but it is the concept I want you to understand.

Faith can save your life in so many ways that many people can’t even begin to imagine what life would be like for them if they didn’t have faith at all. The world has been so programmed today. Morals and ethics are on the back burner and more people rush through life without any concern of tomorrow or what is to come. And then, when Christianity comes on the scene the situation is only worse because everyone wants you to “come around to his or her way of believing.”

Honestly, the answer is very simple. You believe how you feel. If you feel that faith can save your life by what you have read in the Bible or what you have learned in life then faith can save your life. But if you don’t really have faith then knowing if your life will be saved is a question that is ultimately left unanswered.

Sadly, there are many people who don’t give this subject a second thought and then when the time does come they aren’t sure if their life will be saved or not. What a sad feeling to be on the ocean near a capsized ship and not be sure if you will be saved. I would not want this feeling I assure you.

Children are innocent and it’s so wonderful to watch them. I see them playing and wonder if they were asked about faith saving their little lives what they would say. For many of them they have no idea about faith because they haven’t been taught about it. This is where morals and ethics have been suffering. Fortunately, God sees children as innocent too, and knows they do not know faith or what it can do in their lives.
